We offer three service options based on the level of support your child and family need. During your free consultation, we will discuss your concerns, review the next steps, and help you decide which option best fits your situation.
Our advocacy services include:
- Free consultation to discuss your child’s needs, concerns with the school or district, and possible next steps
- Attendance and representation at IEP, 504, eligibility, reevaluation, and manifestation determination meetings
- Review and analysis of IEPs, 504 plans, evaluations, FBA/BIPs, progress-monitoring data, report cards, discipline records, testing data, and support-facilitation logs
- IEP eligibility requests and guidance obtaining appropriate evaluations and supporting data
- IEP goal review, progress monitoring, and recommendations from a certified ESE K-12 educator
- Advocacy when IEP services, accommodations, modifications, or testing supports are not being provided
- Behavior intervention plans, crisis plans, safety plans, and disability-related behavior concerns
- Manifestation determination reviews and advocacy related to suspensions, removals, and discipline
- Advocacy regarding informal removals, shortened school days, and repeated requests for parents to pick up a child
- Guidance with Family Empowerment Scholarship matrix-score reviews and resources such as the Agency for Persons with Disabilities
- Assistance preparing state complaints, local resolution meetings, mediation, and due process matters
- Review of transportation concerns and other school-based barriers affecting a child’s access to education
